Offensive Defense Strategy

Practical application of my theory. When the offense doesn't seems to work, I've retreated into a silent defense which proved to be offensive. Then I launched what seems to be an offensive strike, which, is actually defensive move.

Minor Restaurant disappointment: Cafe Locomotive for Viet noodles dinner, ordered an avocado-soft shell crab ricepaper roll, came without avocado. I was head-over-heels in Fighting mood so didnt bother to yell at any waitresses...

Spring is arriving!!! Beach 5 Rugby marking the start of my most favorite-est season (can you say most favorite when there's really only 2 season in HK? 1. Hot and Wet 2. Cold and Dry) ....

Beer, Beach, Sun, Six-packs. oh, and rugby. me likely.

Central Afternoon Teas Part I & II

The return of the post signifies the glorious end of hell week, and the return of sanity, sound, and sweetness in the workplace (the 3 Ss?). There was not a sound of laughter, only the noise of annoyance dominates the room last week when everyone is frantically trying to avoid attention from the neurotic monarch.
Today we've returned to civilization where opinions, advice, suggestions, warm reminders are welcomed.

To celebrate the end of hell week yesterday I toured around Central, the melting pot of the creme de la creme (ew yucky reminder of la mer) of the wealthy, and the fried de la fried of the domestic helpers.

Part Ichi : TWG Tea Company
I love Tea and I love food with Tea, and the occasional British High-Tea in Tai Tai style is enjoyable.
My revelation about tea: There's a reason why Earl Grey and English Breakfast are the most popular Teas among the tea-drinking population. I ordered the Golden Rose Tea and friend ordered the Apple Tea yesterday, and got cough-syrup tea and 當歸 tea instead. Should always stick with traditions.
The Royal Chic Tea Set was fine, delightful little sandwiches (and not filling for one who had just boxed for an hour)
Gave up the scones (cos they came with raisins and I read they serve with whipped cream, not clotted cream, oh Singaporeans) and got an Earl Grey Chocolate Tart, which was rich, but could be richer.

Part Ni : Fuel Espresso
Definitely the best Mocha in town (never tried their lattes), but a bit small in size, and close a bit too early (7pm!)

Only 30% is for myself, and although I believe I could've made a small fortune by selling them online, I only charge $1 delivery fee, a free breakfast, and a free lunch. So glad to bring a little shopping heaven to a dull humid Thursday for everyone.

很濕很濕很濕...我記得去年的春天只維持了一天便直達夏天了，今年回南天延長作為補償嗎？
屋子每一樣東西都很濕，快要滴出水珠，明天可以生出菇菇了....

春天的時裝與護膚品一致地只有一個模式：
衣服永遠不會乾爽，什麼料子都是濕濕涼涼又未收得衫的裝況...
衫褲鞋襪底都染上了同一種香水 --- 霉耷耷味道！
頭髮set唔直，每日都想紮起冇眼屎乾淨盲
面上塗的無論是＄100支toner，＄500盒cream，定係＄20塊的mask，都是癡笠笠的texture!!

我不想買抽濕機，冇地方擺呀！用幾個星期又唔用！
快啲夏天喇，一唔係你凍番喇好唔好，唔好潮濕喇 ....

love at first sight? i won't admit it ...
it sure was posted (thanks hkfashiongeeks!) at the right timing, just as i was browsing the Furla candy bags so if it's not fate, it has to be right timing ... (appropriate metaphor to many other things in life...)
but i made a trip to Pull&Bear within 4 hours of seeing this post, failed.
then 2 days after seeing this post, failed again.
made a call to the shop, they don't take reservations. (the unfortunate incident of the unprofessional sales staff)
finally, i get to fork out $250 for it this morning, just as the stock arrives, and there are only two neon yellows!

had a not so happy meeting today

i have told myself many many times, there is no point for a rebuttal, because nobody will agree with the other person which they disagree with. there's no point in saying, just do it.

or as they say, doing it quickly doesn't mean doing it efficiently. (really? so you enjoy the slow death of sitting at your desk, 2 days pass the deadline, for the perfect homework to come along?)

Quasi-coldness doubled by humidity outside makes it a perfect day of crouching at home on the couch with a wireless keyboard tapping away, pretending to be doing whatever it is I have to do...

Zoe is becoming more and more like a baby puppy than when she really was a baby puppy.... finally realizing what look she should take on to make her more lovable than possible? and she must have grown a habit to watch tv as well she must be following Gossip Girl just like I am ....

that Lady called Gaga really needs to do something about her concert... the entire office call 31-288-288 for an entire hour and nobody got through... then 1 hour later tickets are selling for $10,000 a piece on Yahoo!. Might as well just sell them at 10K originally and earn all the yellow-cow profit too? I think I will remember this number and the busy tone for the rest of my life... and all those calling just put me off Lady Gaga...

after years of sticking fries into my burger and make special runs to Burger King for onion rings, everyone's favorite burger joint has finally came up with its answer to the calling.

Mr. Mackies, you're a genius. it looks totally fat and I am pretty sure it's pure evil in cholesterol scale, but it was delicious. sadly, the burger fell apart when i was midway thru (time when McD needs to learn from the fabulous jap joint MOS burger's burger pocket) ... i ended up eating the rest of the burger in a civilized way - with a fork. the hash brown goes great with the bacon and onions sauce, and the burger, somehow i always regard as the best patty, complimented perfect by the cheese and the bbq sauce.
I have always complained that McD just recycles all the same ingredients they have into the resto and make different combination to make something new, but hats off this time, i'm lovin' it!!!
and something absolutely unprecedented, the onion rings, way better than the burger king counterpart. crunchier, better crumbs, more onion taste, would be great if they can give you a packet of mayo to dip into...

the patterns top aren't my favorite style so I could leave those to the office ladies but I love the accessories!!! Perfect for the spring, the summer, and the trips to the tropical islands...

prices are still friendly compare to Marni, but not so friendly compare to H&M... that is, if I could get my hands on anything at the listed prices....

such a hectic weekend but I had super blast!!! Boxing, Cycling, Walking around in SZ (!!!), Cooking ... a lot of muscles and brain cells are complaining but I wish every weekend could be like this one.

過了一個超級安靜的農曆新年。不知是好是壞！

初一。到了醫院跟醫生拜年，送了他一封大利是，他也請我吃了一針做回禮。
初二。看煙花。太凍了，電視機裡的也蠻好看吧。
初三。極寒。應赤口的節狠狠的吵了一場。我會記住的。是赤口的錯。

初四。穿了兩件superwarm兩條leggings兩對襪帶着穿了大紅trench coat的zo跑了去long island，長州、不是長島。3蚊一串魚蛋，很好的離島情。炸雞脾未開市呀！
初五。開市。洽不完的眼瞓...

下一個假期已經要等到四月！！可否在週末自製一些新年回憶？

作為cwb街坊，年宵開鑼馬上shopping！
今年擺檔年輕人似乎創意欠奉，所有與龍有關玩意沒有太大睇頭（還是我的人大了？！？！）

唯一焦點落在Chocoolate的baby milo攤檔，排隊15分鐘不算甚麼，最不值的是，＄280一個福袋，你當然不會得到baby milo的產品喇，得到的是過季chocoolate產品，噢對了，福袋的袋是有milo的。店員很好，主動幫我們這些極力推動本地經濟的人拍照。

今年年宵分佈很特別，有一條街，一邊是賣花的，沒太多人，通道成了對面鄰居 -- promoter --的天堂！Promoter是很給力的一群，他們超越了sales，搜羅新奇刺激看似有用的家品，自編自導自演獨腳戲把產品變成天上有地下冇萬能無敵冇咗佢唔得嘅神奇外太空發明，再以超低價及冇用的贈品，一下子在10分鐘之內令你乖乖掏出銀包搶一個回家 .... 今年有turbo cleanser幫你洗鞋，萬用steamer可以乾洗大褸可以洗廚房，慳油油瓶慳水花灑，快乾唔使用力地拖，箭咀向上抹窗就乾淨，慳位雙層衣架等等等等，每個表演看10分鐘，已經媲美一場林生價值＄480的talk show了！那僅餘的一點點賢淑亦俾promoter成功挖了＄300大洋買了萬用steamer及快乾地拖，就算年廿八攞出嚟大掃除都好吖！

花市疑問：每年都會排隊買一客炸雪糕，奇怪這個頗收歡迎的小吃為什麼真的只有年宵才有得吃？？再平常的街邊檔和豬大腸一起炸得唔得呢？

Highlights of the Week!
My absolutely sparkly (but mind you, not bling bling) Gold finger nails!

Inspired by one of the jacket wore by Aaron Kwok in his latest concert, I was obsessed with the black and gold theme since then.

Sadly, adorable things just never last long enough. It's been 4 days and one of them is already lusting ... I was counting on them to be my lucky charms to bring more lai sees during the CNY!

雞蛋仔伯伯

吳伯伯今日上庭了，被告阻街、無牌擺檔及無牌售賣熟食。
他說他還未開檔，不算售賣熟食，法官問多兩問，他最終認了罪。罰款780元，搵食工具又一次被充公。他說沒錢，要一個月內才能繳交罰款。

我知道傳媒將吳伯伯放大了，香港很多無牌小販，有的真係阻街，有的真係好危險。

但我覺得吳伯伯係好人。他住的是要靠偷電來照明的後巷木屋，每天走著鬼買馳名炭燒雞蛋仔。
為了什麼？不是為openrice那數百個笑臉！是為了家人。

報紙說，伯伯妻子及兩名子女仍在國內，他隻身來港，賣每個小朋友都愛的雞蛋仔，月入六千，四千都寄了會家，只剩二千作生活費，及繳交衛生署罰款。
被冇人性的小販管理隊第N次找着時，他只說，我是無牌，你拉我我沒話說，但請不要充公我的木頭車，要二千元一架的。
月入六千的人是為家人努力。
但其他人，儘管月入過六萬，都不打算為家人付出。現在的人在想，你身家多少？你家少於二千呎我是不會嫁你的。你不懂煮飯不是36F不是iBanker我不會娶你做老婆。

我想無論多少人在facebook撐他，就算包圍立法會，就算政府讓步，給他發牌，吳伯伯的生活已經被改變了。林海峰說很怕傳媒起底，怕政府連他住的木屋也干涉。

我希望吳伯伯的生活可以儘快回到他的軌道。我想再吃到他的雞蛋仔。
但願更多人學懂吳伯伯的人生目標，這樣會比較多幸福。

無論幾飽，都有位食嘅甜品。唔擺晒出嚟都唔知，過去9個月到底吃了多少斤糖，吸收了多少卡路里。雖然肥，但甜品可以令沉悶工作起死回生，可以令bad hair day變成what a sunny day，就算嗌交想雪糕都會偷笑。

Sweet Secret Bailey's Cheesecake - freshly made in the morning, the cheese filling was still a bit oozy, but it taste like Bailey's ice cream which is good! Nice strong crust too. I don't have a photo but their Rose & Honey Cheesecake is even better!

Awfully Chocolate - moist chocolate cake, with velvety chocolate cream in between layers.

Not as rich as I would imagine tho.

Ana Oyster Mille-Feuille - I prefer Mille-Feuille with lots of custards but apparently that's not good... this mille-feuille is thinner with the right amount of custard and mangos!

Macaroons!

I used to think macaroons are pretentious french desserts, but I have recently fallen in love with them as well. Lauderee, Jean-Paul Hevin, Le Gouter Bernardaud.. it's all good.... once gross macaroon I've had was a Fois Gras Macaroon ... pan-fried fois gras trapped in between two vanilla macaroon... weird.

火焰雪山其實係好經典豉油西餐嘅甜品，呢度果個係迷你版，一樣有海綿蛋糕底，雪糕，生果，同埋蛋白面，當然要加橙酒燒燶個面喇! 最好係可以揀入面雪糕味道。

Baileys Souffle 以前只係餐廳或者太平館先食到souffle，而家隨時有得食實在太好喇！Baileys souffle夠大，可以叫佢地加重baileys，非常好！

又有souffle！個人認為五代同糖整芒果souffle最好味，芒果味唔假，又唔太甜，不過就細件咗啲...

五代同糖主打，雞蛋布丁，其實即係凍嘅creme brulee，蛋有蛋味，下層有caramel sauce，好好味呀！外賣的話用真嘅雞蛋殼，好靚！

大坑全白小店 ...

自家設計的甜品，差不多每件都非常heavy，我仲未湊夠人去食果個朱古力蜜糖盒子。

第一次吃了Caramel Egg Pudding, 比五代同糖那個密度較高，較重奶味，吃到底的caramel都雪到變咗jelly，好飽。

第二次吃了Devil Chocolate，外面的朱古力慕思包著Brownie，加上脆底，賣相誘人，不過唔夠朱古力味。Mousse算軟滑，Brownie唔夠moist，最好就是脆底，鬆化香脆。

其餘Pudding甜品評價唔高，不過我欣賞它躲在大坑，帶住小狗坐喺門口食甜品有Paris風味。另外其實飲品如綠茶奶昔都好味，不過普通咗啲。

Hot or Cold, who can resist frozen treats? 無時無刻都想吃雪糕... Frozen Yoghurt 大行奇道，吃了少啲罪咎感，不過唯獨肥肥的雪糕是不可取替。

在Bangkok吃了最透心涼的椰子雪糕，排隊時先送上冰凍椰皇水，然後刮出椰肉，加上椰子雪糕，再加椰果，OMG total coconut experience!

too many Froyo shops in town, my favorite Top 3:

1. Crumbs - plain yoghurt with house crumbs, digestives, and mango are the best

2. Berrygood - one of the first froyo shops in HK, hope the Earl Grey flavor can become a consistent!

昨天看了The Tourist. 電影不怎樣，兩位主角也不是我的茶。

但我有一個新發現，電影就像隨意門。

Venice真的很美。我跟你說，這是真的威尼斯，不是威尼斯人。
你說，威尼斯人也做得很像，還指着威尼斯的橋說我們曾在那兒拍照。
我發現，不再須要羨慕人家可以隨時起行去看看浪漫水都，原來看了戲，當跟你去了一趟意大利，也很開心！

但這天，很失落。為一些還未發生的事先提前產生了遺憾感。
明天好像會陰天。為什麼這麼冷？
這個波點派對，其實我自己打算穿什麼出席我到現在還想不到。

Been freaking exhausted after that ridiculous trip to Shanghai..

This morning I suddenly miss my first job, my part-time job @ the Psychology Department of the Georgetown University. I just get in there 3 times a week, 3 hours each, sit in my very own room, listen to my cr903, and input all the doctor's entries. It's mind-numbing, but it makes money and there's no politics. Dr. Chung, Ms. Gearheart are all very nice people and they make sure I felt their appreciation when I had to leave after graduation....
I might have made some serious wrong choices looking back...

近排想用心力絞碎嚟形容自己，尋晚去睇中醫，醫師說我血氣不好，血氣上不到頭，所以睡不好，血氣不循環所以消化不到，叫我針炙.... 第一次，自己一個，聽到針炙嚇得半死，醫師說已經很差的面色應該再面青青多幾分... 坐下，針向頭頂插！！！！咁又係，血氣唔上頭，唔針個頭唔通針腳趾咩...
喺醫館坐了一個時晨，吸盡醫館中藥精華之後，真係好啲喎，真係精神咗... 千金散盡，可能真係會財散人安樂！
仲有四次扮仙人掌的機會，希望真係好喇....

隨著年頭過去，身邊很多人都突然給我長大了的感覺…
結婚的結婚了，結婚不算成長，其實是一個要洗很多錢的儀式，

但有很多人結了婚就不自覺地變了…

有的因”收爐”了而決定以後不用再化粧，不用裝身了，橫豎嫁得出我不用再行一行的吸引異性...做師奶嘛，有牌子的t-shirt牛仔褲已經很俾面了。

難道你們看了哪麼多電視劇還不明白現世代男人不是在找煮飯婆？成日話老婆同車一樣，你有冇見過一架車俾人買了而唔需要洗車的？

有的變成了「我問吓我老細先」的伴侶 à這個不只是apply於女性身上！

如果結了婚令你覺得娶了妳的他／嫁了你的她是你波士，要”服從”他／她的，那辛苦你了，結婚原來是份工作，願你可以一世做好呢份工。

當然，可能”波士”是一匿稱，像”BB豬”一樣，但sorry我覺得好”罌”耳…

基本上，結婚只是將你由single那個格移了去married那個格，理論上不應對生活有什麼改變…

還有很多小生命降臨了，連我也做了契媽。

一個經常發花癲的，變了開心大肚婆，像低能之道的馬仔。

一個曾經瘋癲，現在盡量表現風流的好兄弟，現已是兩子之父！

這些都太大人了，可怕程度十級，遙不可及。還有一些中級程度的…

何時晚飯的話題變了結婚擺酒食翅是否政治正確？

你那個ipo攪成點？

2036股票還會升嗎？

在倫敦還是上海投資置業？

坐在那幾張飯桌，搭不上嘴。怎麼話題變得和老頭飯局不相伯仲…. 的悶？

我比較喜歡停留在喂adidas下個禮拜出新款！那間店的天婦羅最好吃，誰誰誰回來了，在哪裡喝醉了很丟臉，誰的女朋友肥了亮磅，有沒有看雞巴男的video？這些閒話好像家常一點，八卦雜誌那麼多人買都是因為多個年齡層都想知道xxx帶什麼手袋和誰在哪兒吃飯….

大膽講句，這個時代的我們大概會有70歲命，就算過了一半都還有很多日子可以說說哪些股票樓市什麼的，但當我50歲還在看bathing ape就有點老頑童了，就算我還喜歡吃，吉列豬扒都應該不適合老人家。

那，幹嗎要趕着變老成，何不再享受多一點點kidult的好時光？

這個歲數的我們，剛好做kidult。小時鐘情的玩意沒錢買沒錢玩，現在經濟能力可以afford了，又沒人不准這不許那，是最大好良機。

如果可以，我愛瘋。直到永遠。

我還想在可以選擇地任性時繼續地任性，只在有須要的時候變身為成年人。

以上純粹個人見解，失覺，得罪，"細"路仔唔識世界。

MARRIAGE

When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I've got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes.

Suddenly I didn't know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic calmly.

She didn't seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why?

I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn't talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Jane. I didn't love her anymore. I just pitied her!

With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company.
She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. The woman who had spent ten years of her life with me had become a stranger. I felt sorry for her wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take back what I had said for I loved Jane so dearly. Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release. The idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer now.
The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing something at the table. I didn't have supper but went straight to sleep and fell asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Jane.

When I woke up, she was still there at the table writing. I just did not care so I turned over and was asleep again.
In the morning she presented her divorce conditions: she didn't want anything from me, but needed a month's notice before the divorce. She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal a life as possible. Her reasons were simple: our son had his exams in a month's time and she didn't want to disrupt him with our broken marriage.

This was agreeable to me. But she had something more, she asked me to recall how I had carried her into out bridal room on our wedding day.
She requested that every day for the month's duration I carry her out of our bedroom to the front door ever morning. I thought she was going crazy. Just to make our last days together bearable I accepted her odd request.

I told Jane about my wife's divorce conditions. . She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she applies, she has to face the divorce, she said scornfully.

My wife and I hadn't had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mommy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly; don't tell our son about the divorce. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outside the door. She went to wait for the bus to work. I drove alone to the office.

On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on my chest. I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I hadn't looked at this woman carefully for a long time. I realized she was not young any more. There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair was graying! Our marriage had taken its toll on her. For a minute I wondered what I had done to her.

On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of intimacy returning. This was the woman who had given ten years of her life to me.

On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of intimacy was growing again. I didn't tell Jane about this. It became easier to carry her as the month slipped by. Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger.

She was choosing what to wear one morning. She tried on quite a few dresses but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my dresses have grown bigger. I suddenly realized that she had grown so thin, that was the reason why I could carry her more easily.
Suddenly it hit me... she had buried so much pain and bitterness in her heart. Subconsciously I reached out and touched her head.

Our son came in at the moment and said, Dad, it's time to carry mom out. To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had become an essential part of his life. My wife gestured to our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I turned my face away because I was afraid I might change my mind at this last minute. I then held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly; it was just like our wedding day.

But her much lighter weight made me sad. On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step. Our son had gone to school. I held her tightly and said, I hadn't noticed that our life lacked intimacy.

I drove to office.... jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door. I was afraid any delay would make me change my mind...I walked upstairs. Jane opened the door and I said to her, Sorry, Jane, I do not want the divorce anymore.

She looked at me, astonished, and then touched my forehead. Do you have a fever? She said. I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Jane, I said, I won't divorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn't value the details of our lives, not because we didn't love each other anymore. Now I realize that since I carried her into my home on our wedding day I am supposed to hold her until death do us apart.
Jane seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into tears. I walked downstairs and drove away.
At the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife. The salesgirl asked me what to write on the card. I smiled and wrote, I'll carry you out every morning until death do us apart.

That evening I arrived home, flowers in my hands, a smile on my face, I run up stairs, only to find my wife in the bed - dead.

My wife had been fighting CANCER for months and I was so busy with Jane to even notice. She knew that she would die soon and she wanted to save me from the whatever negative reaction from our son, in case we push thru with the divorce.-- At least, in the eyes of our son--- I'm a loving husband....
The small details of your lives are what really matter in a relationship. It is not the mansion, the car, property, the money in the bank. These create an environment conducive for happiness but cannot give happiness in themselves. So find time to be your spouse's friend and do those little things for each other that build intimacy. Do have a real happy marriage!
If you don't share this, nothing will happen to you.

If you do, you just might save a marriage.

浴室碎玻璃

這晚發生家居意外，沖涼，跳進浴室，要關門，浴室的玻璃門整塊碎掉。手介損了，腳掌有玻璃片插着。Zoe也在浴室，好彩她叻叻，乜事都冇，只係有少少嚇親。

幸好爸在家，有人遞對膠拖給我。那一刻其實真係真係有衝動拿手機拍下滿目瘡痍，幸好我還懂分輕重，先收拾災難現場。
屋企要乜冇乜，冇手套，冇箝，冇報紙。好，拿兩個布袋一本雜誌，執了滿滿一個垃圾膠袋滿的玻璃碎片。

這個馬賽克其實很美，所以留了一片回憶。

好戲再後頭。這個家居意外我不能怪誰，畢竟這浴室已用了十多年。爸本來在跟我一起收拾，突然他說要出去接他老婆，老婆剛從大陸回港。我問他，你不能打個電話告訴你老婆家中發生意外，叫它自己搭的士嗎？他不敢回答，真的拿車匙出了門口。
原來他老婆是殘廢的，真真正正冇手冇腳。他老婆有公主病（說它患公主病可能說講得太後生了，應該是皇太后病）我不覺出奇，因它從來都不知可故覺得自己高人一等，要人服侍。
出奇是在我老豆，喂你唔係同你個女喺度砌緊積木呀，是百年難得一見的家居意外啊。
但他連打個電話先告訴它，問一問可唔可以唔去接佢，都唔敢！
點解可以咁？
點解一個男人對着自己老婆可以咁懦弱？
他說回來幫手吸塵，跟住，半個鐘後，打電話回來，說在吃宵夜，問我吸咗塵未。
真的，要照顧一個冇手冇腳的殘疾人士，真係幾辛苦。

今天很多負能量，我真的應該在拳館沖埋涼先返屋企。

今年書展踩行brake，在一張大牛內精選了八款精神食糧：

先說西洋食糧：

1. The Carrie Diary by Candace Bushnell: 是Candace Bushnell說Carrie成為作家前的歷史，應該很好看，不過如果拍電影的話千萬不要找Sarah Jessica Parker...

2. The Charming Man by Marian Keyes: 一直想試試看Marian Keyes的書，因為Sohpie Kinsella (Shopaholicss)，Immogan-Edward Jones (Babylonss)，Lauren Weisberger (Devil Wears Prada)暫時未有新書，但好像她的書好像是給三十外的女人看的。。。之後發展電影Its Complicated是她的故事，所以覺得，應該都岩我睇的。。。。這個，特價品，＄50大洋，就試試妳！如果好看的話就好了，有很多很多作品！

3. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson: 阿V介紹的懸疑小說，一套三本，我想是時候走出chick flick世界，看看其他書，希望唔使用腦啦！（我不是懶，但我覺得工餘時間應該看一些不用太多思考能力的書。）

4. Me and Miss M by Jemma Forte: 之前在書店看到，是明星與PA之間的故事，我一貫的選擇，輕鬆小品，唔使用腦。

1. 我不是壞蛋by歐陽應霽：在微搏看到書面已經知道要買！全本都是講蛋的！
包括蛋的介紹，蛋的知識，三十多個蛋食譜！

當人們內心感到委屈或精神受到重大刺激時，人們往往會哭泣流淚。該哭不哭，一味地忍，悶在心裏時間久了，心中的壓抑就會越積越重，精神負擔也就越來越大，進而出現精神萎靡、情緒低落、歎息不止，導致失眠，影響食欲，出現悲觀厭世甚至輕生的念頭，反應性抑鬱症往往就是這樣造成的。哭，會使心中的壓抑得到不同程度的發洩，從而減輕精神上的負擔，對健康是有一定好處的。難怪有心理學家主張：該哭你就哭吧！強忍著你的眼淚等於自殺。

但是哭也要適當。壓抑的心情得到發洩、緩解後就不要再哭了，否則對身體反而有害。因為人的胃腸機能對情緒極為敏感，憂愁悲傷，哭泣時間過長，胃的運動減慢，胃液分泌減少，酸度下降，會影響食欲，甚至引起胃炎或胃、十二指腸球部潰瘍。有的還會誘發麻疹。因此心理學家主張哭不宜超過15分鐘，要學會控制自己，做情感的主人。

HK's eating population is not a big fan of pies.... Which is weird considering that HK used to be a British Colony (and deep down inside I still wish it is) and the English are such pie-lovers.
I love pies. I love the patries, the warm fillings, and the savory gravy.

I was just craving over pies when I found this:

The pastry melts with the green peas mash, and there's lots of creamy chicken filling. Yum.

(I am still angry about some pub charging around $100 for a Sheppard's Pie)

Ahh the good times when it's good.

One thing I still don't understand. I loathe green peas. It kills my appetite if it appears on any dish. I could take an hour to pick out all the green peas from my fried rice before my first bite. But I love green pea mash. I love its grassy taste and it's warm and fulfilling. I guess I am just bipolar like that.

這是今天有感而發的一個post，不是針對任何人。

我知我興亂發脾氣去另人氹我，從而證明你有多喜歡我。

但慢慢發現呢一招係唔work架，冇人氹之餘又要死死地講對唔住。

最慘係，其實印象分呢樣野，好得意，只有減，唔會多有增長。

第一日識你，你有100分，因為唔熟呀嘛！齋睇外表。

呢100分就喺往後嘅日子用嚟扣分的飛行里數，

每一次你發脾氣／講大話／做錯事／唔聽話，都會被減分，

直至有一日，你里數用盡，亦即感情氣數將盡之時。

醒目的，會知錯能改，偶然為自己儲多點里數，等你可以扣慢啲。

要知道，對方是不會得閒send個email update一下你現在有多少里數，

只會在里數用完的一刻cut你個會藉。

致好煩的人地女朋友: 不要利用對方對你的愛去證明你有多吸引／重要，咁樣好唔型！！！！

小心小心，我自問做不到keep住同一里數，但我不會再去做一些無聊動作去check吓我仲有幾多miles。只希望不會扣到冇哂，可以一直走下去。

真的覺得自己要長大了。要好好的improve一下自己。

心情煩躁的時候不應找別人悔氣。

這個道理其實我是知道的。

但我會忍不住，我都唔知點解，就是好想任性一下，要人氹。

但我知道放縱的日子要過去了，我知道我不能任性一輩子。

我不應要別人擔心，縱然我不知道這世界上有幾多人會擔心我。

要做一個更好的人。不要亂發脾氣，不要懶惰，不要要求任何人一輩子照顧你。

這天在看快周(!!!) :

鄭秀文日前在台灣接受訪問時坦承，當年與許志安拍拖時，因為任性，脾氣大，容易把情緒發洩在所愛的人身上，終致分手收場，讓她至今遺憾。本是兩情相悅卻因壞脾性，摧毀好姻緣，空留懊悔，令人嗟嘆。

鄭秀文如今的性格已變得溫婉開朗，由過去的「臭四」改為「四萬」，她自信地說：「今天誰跟我戀愛，一定很幸福。」我也相信，性格好的人，會比較容易得到幸福。

Starter: Mixed greens with pancetta and anchovies
正常的沙律加煙肉同anchovies。呢排極想食salad，所以叫好。
其實free的starters仲抵讚，先來一堆cheese，然後一人一塊brucheetta，再來問waitress拿 Balsamico Tradizionale點麵包。注意！vinegar唔問係唔會提供的！那千年陳醋香得不得了，不是平常那些黑醋，杰得像蠔油，其實我可以齋食cheese同麵包！:P

當初嫌個pasta有點齋，但係上一個post岩岩講完Farfalle執咗後冇得食我鍾意嘅溫泉蛋松露意粉，所以叫了這個補償一下。
這個pasta一如所料，一定好味。意粉入面有truffle，個cream sauce有又有truffle，再加我最喜愛的菇菇菇和菇，冇得輸。不過冇乜驚喜囉。
其實Pane Vino搬咗之後我覺得失色了... 冇咗以前哪種cozy feeling，以前去舊舖有點像去了一個意大利朋友屋企食飯咁！
仲有，點解唔可以BYO？佢唔係要求收corkage，which is正常，係唔俾我地自己帶酒喎！逼我飲意大利酒？

這夜在Pane Vino來了一個小小reunion。撞到大肚律師，梁伯及貓貓。

如果你知道一個人有野瞞着你，你會不顧一齊去拆穿他嗎？

把真相攤出來講的後果可能係失去所有，值得嗎？

這個世上真的存在white lies嗎？

我其實不覺得需要有white lies的存在。真相往往令人悲哀，但起碼會少了一個揭穿真相的傷心。

不用擔心太多，所有野命運都有安排，好多野可能都係一個試練。

人生不如意事真的十常八九，盡量令當事人開心面對逆境可能係最大幫助。

很滾動的一餐

刺身血拼地位於九龍灣近淘大花園，叫超級壽司，舖面看來是十蚊三件三文魚壽司的那種，原來很驚為天人！看看戰績:

1. 北海道馬糞海膽 - 一版半海膽做了15件壽司 --> 鮮鮮鮮甜甜甜得像雪糕！真的很很很很滾動！

2. Close up海膽 - 吃了一件就會忍不住再夾下一件... 感動得想哭！

3. 整條BB油甘魚 - 很軟很香，令鋪在上面的三文魚子及魷魚變成下欄野！

4. French White Pearl Oyster - 鮮！其實仲有好多款蠔，不過太多野想食喇！

5. 日本廣島蠔配酸汁 - 蠔本身冇乜味，但係酸汁好味，下面的海草極受歡迎。

6. 貝類拼盤 - 帶子、北寄貝、跳螺、翡翠螺 - 個人最喜翡翠螺，哩喺帶子下面的帶子裙邊原來係最正架！

7. 牡丹蝦 - jumbo size!

8. 蝦頭麵豉湯 - 是牡丹蝦的蝦頭做的湯，點解可以咁甜？蝦頭入面啲蝦膏多到大過我隻手指！

9. 燒芝士年糕 - 蕭生掛了新名 --> 燒燶啲！好吃好吃，年糕很軟有燒米的香氣，入面仲有芝士流出！每人encore了一個 ...

10. 美肌 - 是晚sake，像Mr. Juicy的橙味sake，氹女仔最岩！

11. 蟹膏壽司 - ohohoh 膽固醇超標的值得的。

12. 雪糕甜品拼 - 白色是雪糕，啡色是脆皮香焦雪糕，粉紅色是好士多又好啤梨的雪糕，

紫色的不是芋頭，是紫心蕃薯雪糕！黃色的是真的芒果！

其實坐底的時間真的沒想過會咁好食...可能同熟客Joki一齊去的關係所以有靚野食！多謝Joki！

很盡興的一晚，攪gag改名笑到傻咗，吳係路/吳對路/吳識路

好可惜V遲收工，只吃到下半場！

做隻飽鬼の和牛放題

榮川佐賀和牛放題

A4 Wagyu all you can eat sukiyaki @Sakaegawa!!!!!

真正的和牛 ... 好好好好好味 !!! Sukiyaki湯底不太夠味，不過吃到這麼多和牛還是有感動！

其他放題品還有你至愛帶子刺身沙律、蔬菜拼盤，另外送一碟刺身拼盤，還有還有：Asahi生啤、巨峰提子／水蜜桃特飲源源奉上！（酒鬼很得戚！）

Service很一般，其實很多waiter但好似個個都唔知自己做緊乜，不過他們絕不姑寒，見你差唔多食完一碟和牛會自動送上一碟！仲有不同部位random推出，不過有啲靚有啲唔靚... 成日望住隔離檯果碟...

好味好味，可惜要早走，吃了四碟（不是四小碟，是四大大碟）...相信已經值回票價（＠$260）!!! 下次一定再接再勵!!!

無奇不有小故事

這個世上無奇不有。小朋友想快啲長大扮大人，老了想返老還童搏check身分證，是永恆的定理。

但係今天聽到的小故事實在太失禮了！
要湊小朋友是一件很辛苦的事，何況要跟小朋友一起玩一些小朋友的玩意？代價可真大。Especially when you always stress about elegance.
可能這是愛的表現！還是short咗上腦？分不清。可能是愛到short上腦。

過了廿歲，很難叫人忠於自己的真實年齡，但起碼也要忠於你的外表年齡啊！ (即外間憑你的外表而推斷出的你的年紀。)
